GoJoe partners with Epassi to combine digital and physical preventative health workplace benefits

GoJoe has today announced its partnership with Epassi UK, Europe’s leading gym discount platform, offering businesses a combined solution to boost employee health, wellbeing, and productivity.

The partnership will enable companies across the UK and Europe to provide comprehensive preventative health packages for employees that combines GoJoe’s digital platform with Epassi’s network of discounted gyms and fitness classes.

The offering enables whole workforces improved access to health, fitness and wellbeing services, helping to combat rising inactivity levels, improve mental health, and enhance workplace productivity and engagement.

  • The move will provideUK and Europe based employees with integrated digital and physical health and fitness perks, boosting wellbeing.
  • Integrating the two platforms will also enable businesses to provide an enhanced benefits package for all, contributing to an improved workplace proposition and boost health and productivity.

According to NHS England, one-third of adults in the UK are not active enough to benefit their health, with a quarter classed as inactive. Physical inactivity contributes to chronic conditions, reduced mental wellbeing, and absenteeism in the workplace.*

Additionally, a 2023 report by WPI Economics demonstrates the clear link between employee health, happiness, and productivity, finding that 80% of workers are significantly more productive when they feel both physically and mentally well.**

GoJoe’s own findings show that six in ten (62%) employees self-reported increased workforce productivity after using GoJoe and similarly, seven in ten [73%] employees say that within two weeks of using the platform, their wellbeing improved.

Will Turner, CEO and co-founder of GoJoe said: “Since day one of GoJoe our mission has been to get more people more active – and to feel the physical, mental, and social health benefits of doing just that. Partnering with Epassi enables us to offer businesses across the UK and Europe a more comprehensive benefit to help their people be more active, get healthier, and boost productivity.”

GoJoe’s platform uses a proven combination gamified challenges and experiences, social connection, rewards, and real-time tracking to motivate the masses of ‘ordinary joes’ to get active and improve their wellbeing.

By integrating GoJoe with Epassi’s discounted access to gyms and classes, the partnership will help to make fitness and wellbeing services accessible and affordable, boosting employee health, motivation and productivity.

Blending digital and physical wellness solutions, companies can not only enhance the overall benefit package by offering tailored options to entire, global workforces - but also unlock potential cost savings through bundled offerings.

Matt Russell, CEO of Zest and Epassi UK said: “Demand for physical and mental wellbeing support is growing. Providing good physical and mental wellbeing initiatives is a non-negotiable in modern workplaces, contributing to better overall employee propositions. This partnership will boost access to wellbeing benefits for workers and help to increase productivity, offering improved value for money to employees and employers alike."

Epassi is Europe’s leading gym discount platform, helping businesses boost employee wellbeing with discounted gym memberships, health assessments and retail benefits schemes.
